How it Works.

Site Knocker is your Internet errand boy. When you type a website address into the bar above, you are sending Site Knocker across the Internet on a quest to see if anybody at that address is home. If the site answers, Site Knocker will tell you that the site is up and functioning properly. Likewise, if the site doesn't answer, Site Knocker will tell you the site is down.

The path Site Knocker takes to the website you entered is different than the path you would take. If Site Knocker says the website is up but you can't visit it, the path used by your Internet Service Provider is faulty.
